Hi guys,

I've been saving up for a while now for a new car and have a budget of about £15,000 for both car and any work needed on it. However, I'm at a loss as to what to actually get? And I'm wondering if you have any suggestions?

I would like a fun car which is easy to work on and is s nice driver, and it needs to look the part too!

Preferably it can't be too powerful as I'm only 22 and insurance would be a nightmare.

Any age is fine, and I have no preference of make, colour, shape, etc.

Cheers smile

The mx5 is on my list of potentials but unfortunately I'm not overly fond of them...

E46 m3?

I could insure a 320ci for £800 at 19 with 6 points
Ahaha I would love one, but I quoted one the other day and it'd cost me £4000 a year! That's garaged, with a tracker, no crashes, no points and in a low crime rate area!

Garages seem to make quotes more, but not that much haha.

What about a scooby wrx sti?
Hmm, I haven't really considered this as I thought insurance would go the same way as an M3, but I'll do some research!

There's been some awesome suggestions, but I'm still undecided! I'm liking the idea of an M3 if I can haggle the insurance down. Otherwise I think I'll just have to get something a little less powerful for a few years!
