This must be money out of your own pocket and not for mileage that you can claim back.

i.e.

The fuel cost for the miles you personally fund per month.

Do about 1000 a month, costs about £70-80 quid.
I work that out to require an average mpg of almost 72. Doesn't sound overly PH. What sort of car is it that you can average that with? Assume you must never put your foot down either.

Well that's quite impressive. Suspect maybe not the most frugal of vehicle choices?

Civic Type R, which is modified so not the most economical car.

Commute is 200 miles a week which uses £50 give or take. The rest is consumed at the weekends for personal use.
I work that out to be about 20mpg.

If you don't mind me asking, is £600 a reasonable chunk of your monthly income? I would assume to spend £600/month on fuel, you either have very little other outgoings, or must earn a very good wage.
