Any makes you would never buy?

Throughout my formative years my father always said he would "Never buy a Ford" never questioned it and don't know what brought him to this conclusion. He never bought a Ford and, as far as I can recall, none of his sons have ever bought one either! This came to mind recently when, after some appalling customer service I decided I would never buy another Mercedes Benz.

Anyone made any similar decisions and, if so, what makes?

I would agree with the 'Never say Never' sentiment when a manufacturer can surprise you at any time. However when the manufacturer themselves ruin the experience with terrible service isn't it a case of leopards and spots? My Merc is actually a good car - CLS Shooting Brake but customer service is S**T

I suppose that sums up where I sit - who knows what someone might produce next so wouldn't discount anything based on product but poor customer service (like Merc) and I'm gone forever!
I actually like the car - CLS Shooting Brake - but it will go early because of 'customer service' - that and I'm 20 years too young for it (coffin dodger car and I'm not quite 60 yet)
