Just been quoted nearly £100 by Green Flag for next year's breakdown cover on my 52 plate 540i

To be fair AA and RAC are even more

However there seem to be a whole raft of much cheaper providers but I've never heard of most of them

Who has experience of any of the cheaper breakdown companies and are you perfectly happy with them or wish you'd never bothered?

Any pointers gratefully received...

If you have a silver club account with lloyds bank AA cover is free.
I did have this in the past and found out to my cost that the free cover was local only.

I'm looking at full UK cover including onward travel and home start also. Not euro though.

But thanks!

Your bank might offer it with an account upgrade.

I pay £10 a month for a rewards account and get:

RAC cover with home start
Mobile Phone insurance
Travel insurance
Loads of other st I've not even looked at.

Definitely good VFM.
I don't need any of those other than the breakdown cover so not good VFM at £120 (for me)

Glad you're happy with it of course...
