Overtaking before the vehicle in front has pulled in
Discussion
This is surely a new thing and an amazing example of impatience. I've witnessed this on a fair few occasions now.
Have you experienced the situation whereby on a dual-carriageway or motorway the vehicle behind you starts passing you before you've moved back into lane one? So you'll have your nearside wheels in L1, your offside wheels in L2, a series of dashed white lines running underneath the centre of your car and someone is already alongside you on your offside.
At this point I imagine there's quite a few people already typing out their reply about how I'm obviously taking at least four hours to change lane and that I shouldn't inconvenience anyone who needs to be places. This is categorically not the case.

I have done it because they've been holding me up for miles and then take 20+ seconds to change lane.
I have never had it done to me because unless you are holding someone up, they are in a supercar or you take an age to move in, the situation can't arise.
Interesting. I mean, you're wrong but it's always interesting to hear opinions.I have never had it done to me because unless you are holding someone up, they are in a supercar or you take an age to move in, the situation can't arise.
