I was driving through a housing estate earlier, whereupon I came across this VW Scirocco.

I'm no VW fanboi, and I'm generally not keen on barry type mods. However, despite risking derision, I thought this looked fantastic. I guess it's on airbags and can be lifted for normal driving! Lack of front number plate also an issue for discussion...

What is the PH consensus? Ready for a flaming... biggrin

I'm delighted at everyone's response about this car picture, thank you all so much!

What is the most interesting to me, is that it has galvanised opinions to a polar degree - posters are either in a love it or hate it camp. No-one has said that they're not really bothered one way or the other.

As I said in my OP, I'm usually not a fan of ridiculous mods or Dub scene rubbish.....and I especially hate the trend of 'stancing' and having ridiculous wheel camber, and tyres stretched over rims......that's all ridiculous.

However that's not evident here.....and whether it is a Diesel 'Rocco or not (I've no idea, I didn't check) and even if the owner didn't do any of the work himself, and just paid out for someone to fit airbags and expensive wheels.....as a car enthusiast, it just caught my attention, and I thought it looked.....well, nice!

It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things, so I am grateful that there's such a difference of opinion...it's what gives us such diversity!

Keep the comments coming, it is fascinating to hear what people think....
