Thanks for the suggestions everyone, taken all in to consideration and have been getting insurance quotes as I've been going along.. All around 2-2500 for the year which isn't to bad!

Think I may just go with a Clio 197, although I'm still looking, thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone for the replies, have been to view a few cars, started to sway towards the corsa VXR but everyone I have been to see had problems, back to the drawing board I think, Clio 197 is defo my next option but interested in all of the suggestions!
