Ferrari Mondial

I would. They have a certain charm that appeals and I know they won't be winning any track day battles but it'll never be on track, it's just for cruising around at the weekend or if I had enough money then I'd love to use one as a daily.
I'm aware there are many cars that are technically better and that it's overpriced but none of that matters, I'd still love one.

Who wants to be left holding a £50k Mondial when the music stops and prices drop?
Might not be tomorrow, but it will happen.
I think theyre a bit embarrassing, slow, temperamental, poor quality and just bad all round.Might not be tomorrow, but it will happen.
The badge is the only plus point.
Id rather drive a 56 plate corsa
I do think some cars have just gone silly price wise.
I used to think that that looked awful before until this was posted up on here which I think looks like but probably not to everyone's liking.

That does look pretty nice, but I don't recall them looking like that from the factory. Look lowered with bigger wheels and rubber band tyres.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Like other Ferraris such as the 400i and Dino GT4, these were regarded as an embarrassing joke until very recently.
Now they are esteemed heritage vehicles offering a wonderful investment opportunity...
I always liked the 400i, couldn't wait to graduate, get a job and buy one when they were about £10K. Sadly by the time that happened they were a bit more and I'd discovered the price for insurance and maintanence Now they are esteemed heritage vehicles offering a wonderful investment opportunity...
Still like them though, the V12 might have had something to do with it?
The early Mondials were a bit lacking in the performance department but the final 'T' model was very respectable. I had the opportunity to drive the later model and found it quite a likeable steer. Mid engined, 4 seater, good visibility, Connolly hide trim with delightfully weighted controls and quite 'sweet' handling and a good turn of speed to boot - what's not to like, I was quite impressed.
Wow... hold on there haters..... Don't knock it until you've tried it. I bought a cheap '90 on a'G' Mondial T in about 95. Spent a few month fettling it, solenoids on engine cover, fuel filler. Oil temp gauge etc... Was offered just over £30K a few months later and sold it. Aspired to a 348 at the time. Same engine. Saved up another £20K to get me into a 348. It felt disappointing, and not 40% more value than a Mondial. I kept trading up until I got into the V12 :-)
Current car prices are crackers to most of us. Look around, houses are the same. Average family houses (outside London) are £200K+. These were sub £100K less than 10 years ago. The market is never wrong.

It use to irritate me, but since taking my bike test 3-4 years ago, its quite hilarious to spectate.
I simply see cars as a-b transport now as they arent nearly as involving and dare I say enjoyable or value for money compared to bikes.
