I got thinking whilst looking at old pics of my vx220 particularly the way the steering felt. I was thinking how I'd love every car i own to have that turn in.

What's the one feature/character trait you would take through to every car if you could, it can be anything.

Current or previous cars, doesn't matter if it flows or gets boring (not part of this criteria)

Mine would be the bootlid on the csl. Or the induction noise.

Or perhaps the "pooh to blanket" feel my old Renault 5 gt turbo gave me.

What's yours?

Similar to yours, i'd vote forwards the steering and general chassis feel of my Evora. Feels lovely hooking up fast direction changes and carrying such speed through corners on track.

Do they use a similar tub? Evora/Exige/elise/vx? Great things :-)

A HUD, my current car has it and I wonder how I ever managed without it. Also soft close doors, I don't have them anymore but did enjoy this tiny feature on my old 7er.

The obvious one (not already mentioned) is the all-round visibility from the NSX cockpit, from the view of the wings above the front wheelarches which make it a piece of cake to place at an apex, through to the properly panoramic rear visibility that you just DO NOT get with most modern cars, even allegedly practical daily drivers...

Leftfield one - indicators on the proper side for a RHD car (i.e. stalk nearest the door) - feels so much more natural after using it for a little while.

PS - good topic OP!

The little clip on the windscreen of my octavia that holds car park tickets. It means you avoid the sticky residue left on the window.

That and the exhaust noise from my decatted Impreza STi Version V Type R. It was incredible, especially when nice and hot on the overrun biggrin
