Return of Toureg from PCP - Crack on Windscreen
Discussion
Brother in Law asked today for my thoughts on his windscreen.
A small stone chip has turned into little crack at the bottom of his windscreen no more than an inch long. He called his insurance who in turn sent a windscreen repairer to his house and attempted a repair without success. He was then informed a repair wasn't possible and his screen was absolutely fine with little chance of the crack spreading. This has been reported to his insurance who are now happy that everything is fine and he has nothing to worry about, case closed. He is now worried that when it comes to returning his car in 5 months time, VW may bill him for new screen. Any thoughts I can pass on?
