Just got a 2004 2.0 Accord tourer Exec. Everything about it is lovely, but notice the biting point for the clutch is low. Goes in and out of gear, just starts to bite as soon as you move the pedal. Does not engage til normal mid way point.

What does this indicate? New clutch soon?

Read that a possible change of the clutch fluid might help. Is it adjustable in any way?

Any idea?

It is supposedly self adjusting so I am thinking might be on its way and out of adjustment? or does a self adjustclutch make adjustments to keep the point the sam euntil the clutch is done.

I know a high biting pointing is the clutch nearly done. Just never had such a low one before. Literally need the pedal right to the floor to not feel any resistance at all when coming out of gear.

I will give the fluid a change and bleed it then. Cheers.
