Unholy Aural Assault...

I just walked through a village square (I had popped out for a newspaper and some chocolate) and had an unholy aural assault of biblical proportions.

A low, thunderous throbbing rumble - I could feel it - and I instinctively looked up, thinking it was a helicopter from the nearby marine base.

It wasn't.

It was a BMW E60 M5 sat at idle.

I've not stood near one before, let alone heard one at idle, it sounded fantastic. Now all I can think about is a plan to ditch my 530 sport touring and get one.

Hell of a noise.
