Hi,

I've got a small race battery in my Griffith and it has quite a few cables going to it. Not quite sure why yet, but it seems to have two large positive cables and two large negative cables, and a smaller positive and negative cable which runs to an amplifier in the boot.

Now I want to connect in a CTEK battery charger socket which also attaches directly to the battery. But there is barely enough space on the threaded posts for the existing cables, definitely no more space for anything else.

What's the best option here? Is there a correct method of attaching the cables to a remove positive and negative post and then having just one cable running to the battery terminals? Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Daniel

May have just answered my own question actually!

I'm guessing two of these should do the job.

I have a battery like this, hence the issue with the small studs

Just use the cigarette lighter instead for CTek
Could do, but it’s in the door and on the wrong side of the car to my charger, so a bit of a hassle each time, given that my garage is quite narrow. Also, my socket in the car doesn’t work, so I need to get that fixed first!
