Good afternoon/evening

I'm looking for some advice, I posted this in the EV/alt fuel section but found no response...
This weekend I'll be heading to take a look at a 2000 Volvo V70 PH2, with the older 2.5tdi engine

From scouring the internet it seems that it should be possible to run this car on svo, the supermarket stuff. Later on perhaps I will experiment with wvo. Does anybody have any experience of running on veg oil with this engine?
I believe it's the same one used by Audi and VW...
The plan for the car is the perfect roadtrip car for Europe
Further, it seems that the world land speed record for a veg oil car is 155mph. Perhaps with a bit of tuning up to say 300hp the old girl could break that and become the fastest car in the world (powered by veg oil)
Any thoughts?

Best,
Mark

Really? That is a shame
You are right, people here enjoy their petrol much more than cooking oil

Do you think the emissions would be any better running on pure veg oil?
