Problem with a car i sold to somebody

So recently i bought a cheap E46 with a few bits done, coilovers welded diff etc as i had intended to use it as a weekend/track car. When i got the car i put a standard steering wheel back on to get the lights off the dash so it could be mot'd, got it mot'd and had it on my drive for a bit
I very quickly discovered where i'd planned to keep it wasnt an option anymore and i really lost all interest as i was frustrated. So decided to sell it despite only having it a month or so.
Put it up for sale, was as honest as i could've been, i figured somebody would buy it and strip it for parts or buy it as a track day car, chap contacted me came down to buy it, had a short chat with me about it and gave me the money for it and left. At the time he was there i made him fully aware of the following things:
-I didnt have the V5c as it hadnt come through, i had the recipt from when i bought it and the new keepers supplement, i drew up a recipt with this info on it saying i would sign and forward it as soon as i could. (Still havent received the v5c despite sending a form for a replacement, not sure why)
-It has a welded diff so skips at low speeds as the guy prior to me drifted it, he'd never driven on one before so i explained to him best i could what it did/why it did it.
-Had a few other minor problems such as rear windows rattle down so they were jammed up with screwdrivers (Done before i owned it)
Now in the month or so i had it i did probably 3-500 miles and had zero issues.
He came down a fair way, about an hour and a half, looked it over, chatted to me, paid and drove away, i thought all was good.
He text me a week or so ago saying the gearbox wouldnt select gears and suggested maybe it was the short shifter that was fitted,, i replied i wasnt honestly sure and it was fine when i had it, i think he went on to solve this problem.
He's now text me this evening saying hes got breakdown recovery out as the welded diff has snapped on one side? and that he has 1 wheel drive. I asume he means driveshaft im not sure? and generally he seems quite angry/unhappy.
I'm really not sure what to say/do, it was never a perfect condition car, it was a cheap E46 that some guy had drifted prior to me and id planned to make into a budget track car, i advertised it best i could and didnt try to hide anything at all.
ive never been in this situation. He also mentioned paypal have been in touch asking him if he was happy with his purchase.. which confuses me a bit as he paid party by cash and part by bank transfer which i watched him do and made sure it cleared.
It has been 2-3 weeks since i sold it, i have a recipt mentioning the V5c and that is as sold as seen, something ive always been taught to do by my dad growing up.
I do somewhat feel bad if hes really having all these problems as i had none in the short time i owned it but i also didnt know the car inside out when i sold it due to not exactly having it long.
Where do i stand/What do i do?

I mean i dont want to be rude to him or whatever but im really confused. I genuinely diddnt try and sell anything dodgy or whatever.
What confuses me is when he turned up to buy it he didnt haggle at all just paid the price after clicking 'buy it now' on ebay
didnt test drive it just had a quick chat and a swift look round and drove it away?
All just seems a bit strange but as per typical me im slightly worried ive got an angry man who knows where i live and is upset i sold him something, am i worrying over nothing?

The last two cars I sold I used the online service to change the v5 into the buyers name, then destroyed the paper v5 I had. Did it in front of them and it updates the records there and then, saves posting. You will need his details tho . . .
