Wheel Clampers Fire Bombed

Two youths in Cannock, Staffs, have fire bombed a private wheel clampers BMW. They were charging up to £295 to get your car back. Police are looking for them, but hopefully they will................

In Birmingham last week, the Police clamped and then removed a wheel clampers van (complete with clamps) for having no insurance. The sergant that did it was on local radio, and boy, was he pleased with himself.

Problem is that ARSON is really a form of attempted murder and wheel clamping is extortion. It's not really tit for tat. Phoning a clutch firm to come and take the clampers van away for 'repair' anonomosly might be more 'fair' so to speak.

There was nobody in the car.
