The picture updates every minute. If you spot something juicy you can click right button "Save picture as..." and host it on photobucket for us.

Check out the Touristenfahrten timetable (public track times) before staring blankly at an empty track wink

See http://www.8200rpm.com/webcam for a comprehensive archive

Two new cams added...

Breidsheid bridge:

ED Tankstelle, Döttinger Höhe:

Hope thekirbyfake doesn't mind me adding these in, email me if you do (or write a post on here if you think this is annoying also)

I'm guessing there closed to public laps at the moment, there was a bloke/marshall type wandering around earlier but no cars, boo.

Closed to the public until 16:15 (GMT). Full opening times for Touristenfahrten are here

Quite an interesting concept though, webcams. I have it open in a little 100 odd pixel window above my clock, i wanted to sport some nice stuff today! Does anyone know if theres a way to set it as my desktop yet have it 'live'?

Go into Display properties (i.e. right click on the background and then properties).
Select Desktop tab
Click Customise Desktop
Select Web tab
Then New and enter the weblink.
You then get a popup which has a customize button. Click it.
Select "I would like to create a new schedule" and then you can select how often it happens.
You can also get to the synch settings but start->accessories->synchronise.
Select the link and hit setup to give you all the options

Take a look at the banner hanging on the fence. Squinting and Googling has revealed that "Pistenclub" (www.pistenclub.de) have got the track for the day.

There could be some really rather fruity motors on today!

Is that a 997GT2 there too? It has the turbo led's in the bumper and a 996GT2-like deflector on the front line of the bonnet.

I notice they haven't cleaned up the crud yet. Doesn't say much for German efficiency does it?

Imagine getting that stuff on your wheels just as you're about to set out on a lap!

Is it me or does this really not look like fun?

I'd hate to be going out with that much traffic, especially with such speed differentials.
