Not happy to announce they are working on one coach built Ferrari, the GTO, Dutch firm Vandenbrink has confirmed it will be producing a cabrio model, the GT Convertible.

The GTO was made as a tribute to the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, built on the 599 GTB chassis, and just five will go into production next year.

The convertible will also be based on the 599 and will feature a folding carbon fibre hardtop.

The car will be built only on special customer request.

There are no technical details of the GT Convertible yet but expect the same 650 and 750bhp engine options that will be offered in the GTO.

The company was founded by Michiel van den Brink with business partner Robert Koumans.
