Recognise some of it but not all.

Where was pic.2?

Looks like a great day out and love the look of your 944.
Whats it like a sporty driver?
Pic 2 is the Berriedale Braes. The 944 is brilliant - particularly likes the really twisty technical stuff.

Stang - on the way to Durness is correct.

To put the mileage in perspective, London to Modena is only 850 miles. I only spent 30 miles on the motorway. smile

Thanks for the comments on the car chaps. It is a work in progress - I have a GT3 RS stylee stripe coming for it imminently. It's a great machine, absolutely perfect for Scottish roads - I would say the Cayman is it's spiritual successor, even though it has 2 less seats and an engine at the other end.

I still haven't worked out my economy yet, but I left home with a full tank, filled up in Thurso, then Ullapool and arrived at home with just under a quarter left. The journey to Wick wasn't really "hammer down", but I guess that is pretty good. I have on occasion got the 944 down into the early teens mpg, but you couldn't drive like that all day! That said, it can do 30mpg on the motorway!
