So here is a question for you would you buy an ex Police car from auction been checking lately and there are some quite nice cars going through

No they don't. Mods are usually limited to suspension and electrics and sometimes brakes.

Most of the Police cars are fast enough not to need remapping etc the current 330d's being a case in point

Indeed this is the best location for buying an ex Police car the auction today wasn't as good as expected most cars made to much money (The Ford S-max looks quite tidy+ with Turbo 5 cyl lump to boot)
