peugeot 306 guidance required?
Discussion
Hello,
Im of course in the incorrect section should probably post in technical section but maybe i will get a quicker response here or maybe not. So here it goes currently own a peugeot 306 d-turbo with the peugeot 1.9 XUD engine and it seems that fuel consumption is rather high even taking into account the rising fuel costs. I am of the belief that the high fuel consumption can be some what attributed to the high idle (warm idle 950-980rpm) and possibly dirty egr valve. So can anyone out there point me in the right direction i.e web based guides that describe egr valve removal or idle adjustment or if anyone has any experience with the engine/related engine then please share.
Thank you for your time
Lewis.
