Colt Lancer 2000 Turbo c1981

Have been in contact with the Lancer Turbo Register and a car I sold about six years ago is still apparently the best example of the type and is "99.99%" not for sale.

Really want a superb car, so does anyone know of any standard or BBR time warp Lancer? I once heard that Jo Macari had a keeper, but who knows?

Should have hung onto the last one.

The power figures sound really lame now - 170 BHP as std, but what turned me on about it was reading Car and Car Conversions mag when I was 14 and hearing the car described in a second hand car supplement as one in in which "a lot of young hero's have come to grief in this vehicle.....usually in a hedge backwards".

Well had to have one (well a few) after that write-up.

Used to commute in my BBR from Wales to London (weekly) up to 2001. Totally reliable and good fun.

Lot of money....and more than I would want to spend....but along the lines of the cost of a low mileage 205 GTi a few months ago these cars are getting increasingly rare and you only need one person desperate to buy with the cash.
