GT3 - What wheel colour to go for...

Hi folks,

Recently bought a speed yellow GT3 and the wheels have a few marks and I'm not keen on the finish anyway.

So, current look -

I'm thinking either anthracite (can't find an example) or solid black, like this -



Thoughts?

Like the look of that, hard to tell from pics, is it Grey?

Not sure if the black just makes the wheels disappear a little hence Anthracite Grey being one of my ideas.

Ye silver surrounds, black centres.

If they weren't scuffed i wouldn't be desperate to change but with planning to get them re-done anyway i wouldn't choose the current finish.

Would like to keep the white GT3 writing on the centre caps regardless though (not really obvious in picture) and have even toyed with doing the writing in yellow but not sure if that would potentially be naff.....

No, it definitely does not as silver wasn't on my list and now it is because of that picture...arrgghh :-)

I'm reasonably sure I'm going for anthracite as a comprise.... anyone had it done around Glasgow, mailed exel to ask what services they offer in Scotland but haven't heard back.

They look excellent, really suit the car and finish looks good.

Just a little too "light" for my car I think though.

I popped into chameleon in rutherglen but they only do anthracite (or silver / black) with no different shades...

What's the name of the place in Cumbernauld?

Out of curiosity, are the Porsche centre caps standard? I have GT3 logos on mine but not sure whether that's aftermarket?

Thought I'd update the outcome..

After much pondering and procrastinating I made a decision and got the wheels done....graphite grey, really happy with the result, dark in the dark, light when the sun hits them....





Thoughts?
