I do have one what do you need to know?
I’m just curious. I've just purchased a particularly high specification example (I’ll post some pictures when the weather clears up) and wondered what the sticker price would have been. I don’t suppose you could scan and send it to me could you?

Liking the GTS badge on Jackwood's car. I have the Carrera GTS badge. I feel a small mod coming on...:
+1 I think the silver badges with the black wheels looks a little out of place. A trip to the dealer is in order

Are there two different styles of rear 997.2 light?

My GTS looks like it has more red on it than on Rudes car.

By the way, mine is also new to me in the last 2 weeks. 1100 miles and counting smile
Was that the Porsche Bristol car Jackwood? If so similar spec to mine if I remember correctly. Congratulations!

You must have sports chrono if you have the clock which is option 640 £542 and floor mats option 810 £122.
That's great. Thanks for taking the time to research this for me.

PS I hadn't added the sports chrono as I thought it was standard on the GTS, and that only the sports chrono plus was an option for PDK equipped cars.

my pleasure but what you need to make that car complete imho is the short shift gearlever which can be retro fitted for circa £300-400
Agreed. My CR had the short shift and the long throw standard item on the GTS just feels out of keeping with the rest of the controls.

this will make you sick as it does me back in late 2011 i could have bought an aqua blue gts from an opc with 1000 miles on the clock for a fiver under £60k and it was up for sale for agesfrown
at roughly £80k new with well chosen extras they really were bargains and some of the lucky even secured at discount on the new price as the 991 was released!
late 2011 really was a good time to buy a new/new preregd delivery miles or nearly new porsche!!!!
Yes but as seems to be the case with all Porsche cars of late, used prices have remained steady or risen. Certainly my 2 previous cars have been cost neutral.
My GTS has only covered a few more miles than the one you mention at 2800, and so feels brand new. I'm quite happy with the price I paid given the current market.

I'm rubbish! I hadn't even noticed that! Is the badge on my car a genuine Porsche one?
I think so. It looks like the original owner has specified the Carrera delete option. If indeed this was an option. The GTS looks the same as mine albeit in black.

I've looked at mine and thought it looked very new for a 4 year old car. I think it may have been taken off and a new one added recently. Original owner is listed as Swindon OPC.

Also just seen that yours doesn't have the extended leather package, so not identical to mine. Everything else is the same.

How are you liking it so far? Are you going to add miles or try and keep it mega low like it is?
It's a second car, but it's a driver not a garage queen.
It's feels like a bit of a handful after the CR. The CR was sharper. The GTS feels much more elastic in it's responses. Perhaps that's down to the wet weather and the fact that I haven't used the sport setting yet. The noise is quite different. It's deeper with less induction noise, and a bit more exhaust. Which could be louder with PSE engaged. It also seems to thirstier than the CR. I'm averaging 18MPG compared to mid 20's in the CR.

GTS is definitely thirstier - it's an absolute peach though. I love it's handling traits especially at or above the limit. Take it on a track day, you'll have a riot!
I was planning on getting some on track driver tuition when the weather starts to brighten up again.

Yes. Identical spec. Was yours a demo car or pre-reg by an OPC?

How come the miles are so low?
Neither, it was a factory order for someone.

Apparently purchased by someone that lived overseas and then bought by someone that never got round to driving it, hence the reason for the sale.

Note to myself - must get round to driving mine more often!

Only covered 600 miles in nearly two months since I picked it up from 911V and the drive home was 150 of them...
I've put 400 miles on mine since Friday and have a 600 mile trip planned this weekend!

Bought my GTS from 911V (the last one they had in White) and love it to bits! Great service from Tom and the 911V guys too.

Sure you're going to love it!

Although you may need a Sharkwerks exhaust mod to give it some 911 soul...

Enjoy!
