So our GT3 is a Comfort. Actually think the seats are fantastic, but admittedly if i ordered the car myself (it was a cancelled order), i would have gone for the Clubsport.

I have spoken to the OPC and they say I cannot retrofit the Clubsport cage... or at least order it. Is this a normal thing, or do you think it is just not available on their system yet?

I have got a discount on a spare set of wheels but at £6k I was wondering on what alternatives are out there on the market? I like the Cup car wheels; they look like BBS FIs but appear to be 19" which could be an issue with the PCCBs.

On the PCCBs note, i love them but have read threads about them being a bad choice for track driving. Has this improved for the 991? Any guidance on what i should do not be shelling out thousands after one track day would be appreciated biggrin

I think that was a bit of a tall story about the CSLs. When i had a slight 'incident' at Snett in my CSL it took ages to get spare parts, but only because they are made as a result of demand (and therefore you had to wait for a batch).

I can appreciate any manufacturer would want to maintain exclusivity though; as far as i know if you have a CSL chassis number you can do what you like, and perhaps i can try it with a CS chassis number with Porsche. I'll try and get one!

Otherwise, Tonbridge Porsche has suggested Parr do a similar cage from a company called GMG... never heard of them though.

Thanks for the comments!
