Being a sports car fan for over 30+ years nevertheless I, along with many others, missed the boat on 964s when they were reasonably priced. And I know they are now popular amongst collectors but isn't this a bit bonkers?

Past £19k already with 3 days to go on a 964 Carrera 4 that hasn't turned a wheel in 7 years! Fleabay is well known for shill bidding but the bidding isn't 'private.'

I know the 996/7 hasn't that many fans amongst the purists but even a good one would be less than half of the price of this one once you've restored it. Faster too. Ah, but not air-cooled rolleyes

Am I missing something here? Is the 964 Carrera 4 especially rare?

Glad I'm not the only one. There's a 964 C4 cabriolet in red going on Autotrader for £22k AFTER an engine rebuild, and you can drive it straight away. No hint by the way, I'm not selling one!
