997.2 c2S Exhaust advice...
Discussion
Hi,
Just had my 997.2 c2s into Porsche hatfield for a misfire issue (fixed under warranty!) and they have reported corrosion and a crack in the center muffler. The quote for a replacement is just shy of a grand. Any advice on replacement exhausts that sound better than the factory fit, and hopefully a bit less than a grand for a single component replacement!
Also, any recomendations for an independant Service Center in Herts?
Thanks.
Matt.

Thanks everyone! Some really useful comments and guidance here.
I like the idea, and sound of the Sharkwerks solution. One follow up up question - How much louder is it thatn the standard pipe on startup and tick over? I live in a village in Hertfordshire and dont want to annoy the neighbours too much! I dont mind when i am on the road and open her up, but the early morning start and crawl from the village is a concern. Is the bypass pipe a lot louder??
Thanks,
Chris - I will give you a call for a quote.....
