I am thinking of selling my new Spyder and 2015 991 GT3 for the new Turbo S
My only reason to keep either or both is the future values of either
The Turbo S will shed £££
I don't have space to keep so costs to store
Why ?
Both great cars but I'm getting to a stage in life that I want the comfort of a non race type car
And parking sensors
And a roof that goes up and down by itself
And leather air vents !

Totally shallow reasons but valid for me

No.

I have a new Spyder and a 991 Turbo S.

Having also owned a couple of Gt3's too.

Keep the spyder and trade the gt3 for a 991 Turbo s, the two are are a very good duo, with obvious different characters.
I had thought of that too
But I also have 9934S that has the real feel of a Porsche
The new ones are great but are just rocket ships with 4 wheels
But I just fancy the new TurboS
Had a 996 Turbo S for three years and sold before the prices began rocketing back up
The 9934S is one car I would never sell
Just the real deal

Have you considered the new 981 spyder ? It's much more civil than the 981 and you still retain top down motoring with a 3.8L engine. Turbo is nice but probably a too much of a culture shock and based on your post, whatever you do don't buy One that is any less than 3 years old.
Hi it's the new 981 Spyder I have to go
And it would be the 991.2 Turbo S to buy

I call selling the Spyder and the GT3 to go Turbo S the nuclear option !!

Well ....
I've not driven the GT3 since January
That tells a story
When you say a fully loaded 991 GT3 do you mean a GTS
I've got the 991 GT3

Also how lucky am I even to have the choice !

I've been cosseted by free driving having bought the GT3 and Spyder
The depreciation is massive on the Turbo S and one big factor against it
And yes all cars are replaced by bigger and better
Except my 9934S
Still my favourite and.i still smile every time I drive it

Another clap for being so honest OP.

Personally, I think you're mad however I'm not fortunate enough to own both (or either for that matter frown) so what do I know! biggrin
Yes possibly nuts !
And the more I reflect on my good fortune to have two unique cars I am indeed possibly mad to buy a car that is just fast
My 996 Turbo S was just that. Devoid of personality but fast
The others do have personality
The 993 in buckets
The GT3 by the way it chatters away
The Spyder because it dares me to put the roof down ! Go on it says - see how f.....g smart do you think you are !!
I've not tried it yet
