My dream car is a Green 997 GT3 RS 2007, it's a car I would love to own one day, however good examples are over £200,000. So my question is... with manual GT3 Porsches going up and up is it worth investing in a car like this with say 50% cash 50% finance? I'm wondering if I would recoupe the finance costs and profit from this if I kept the car and dos relatively low mileage for 10 years?

Thanks for the info guys! How does the GT3 RS differ from the GT3? I've found a we GT3 (2006) with 44,000 miles for £85k at the moment, is that kind of mileage too high for this car to keep its value if I added say 3k a year over 5 years? Basically I am wondering whether to get that now and the dream Green GT3 RS at a later date. Anyone driven/owned either or both?

Here's the car...

Let me get my crystal ball out for you...

It sounds like a huge gamble tbh, the market is in overdrive but can those prices be sustained and if not how many people will have their fingers burned? I know it's a dream car, it is mine too but when talking that sort of money my head would win over my heart and it would be property I'd be placing my money into.
Your absolutely right! That's why I'm considering the white one above instead, that way if I do lose money it'll be 65% less than I would of with the green gt3!

You guys have got it all wrong, yes of course I'm buying it to drive and enjoy it - it's my dream car above anything all I was asking is will it hold its value and carry on increasing?

Exactly! If you don't know the difference between the GT3 and the RS, you don't know the market that you are looking to invest £200k in....
I do know the difference I just asked if anyone had owned both?
