997 GTS rear badge

Hoping the forum can help me out with a bit of a first world problem re my 997 GTS. The 'S' of the 'Carrera GTS' badge on the rear of the car has been snapped off by some overzealous car valet folk.

I just spoke to my OPC who want to charge £60-odd +VAT for a new badge plus £160-odd +VAT for the labour.

Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative (I am based near Guildford, Surrey) to get this done or am I better off just stumping up for Porsche to do it properly?

Annoyingly I didn't notice till I got home - they of course denied all knowledge despite the length of the badge being full of cloth threads!

I do like the idea of decluttering the rear - will have a look at some options and get onto a local indy.

Thanks for all the responses, really helpful. I have now debadged and will likely replace with just 'GTS'.
