997.1 GT3 RS front end rattle only when hot ....

Guys need a bit of advice re my 997.1 GT3 RS : only after (or during a long run) I get a rattle from the front end of the car . Top mounts ?? .... possibly but I think not, they look ok . Sounds more like an internal issue with the front shockers ..... it only happens when the car is hot after or during a hot run . I've got the car up on our ramps as we speak and would like it fixed once and for all . Cheers Barry

Brilliant ! .......I'm so glad that I've , at last, got a straight answer. I also posted this on the GT3 facebook page and there are loads of variations on what it could be. If you don't me asking what did you pay to get the shockers replaced ?

Apparently Bilstein offer a refurb service on the shockers . At last light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks again guys :-)

It seems that the Bilstein refurbishment service is that way to go with this . This is the route that ill be going down .......

Creaking when turning the steering wheel is more akin to top strut mounts / bearings . Ive had this on both my 996 C4's & my turbo . Could also been the lower suspension support arm also known as the 'tuning forks' due to their shape.
