This could be controversial. But what would you go for a 996 turbo 97000 miles against a evora s 35000 miles.

I get the build quality with the porsche but would this 90k miles bring some head aches . The evora is around the same money with less miles ?
I am test driving a evora today but a bit concerned on the power output 270 bhp ?

Hi guys , well drove a n/a evora are Murray Lotus. It looked lovely in graphite grey. First impressions were very good handling is very noble like,I would think you could chuck this into a corner just as good as the noble . I think it is lacking power you always have your foot flat to the floor to gain any speed. Saying that it's not slow buy any means but next to a Noble it would be slow, the noble is seriously quick .
The evora has the best exhaust note though lovely sound .

Had a run out in a 996 turbo 58000 miles and the power delivery is insane . I thought the noble was quick but this was felt quicker.
So still don't know what way to go. Do you think the 996 would be a better place to have your money. I am not to sure how much more the porsche will rise in value say over 5 years. What would the evora do in 5 years. I am only doing 3k miles a year.

Yea it's a 58000 996 turbo tiptronic. I think the evora s has the looks against the porsche. You see porsche every day but not so much Evoras going around.
But I think the porsche will be worth more in 3 years time possibly.
I will be doing around 2k miles a year.
Can't decide .

Well after my 997 C4S suffered from the dreaded bore scoring I was torn between a 996tt and a Evora S. After viewing a few 996tt I viewed a Evora S .Wow what a car looks so much better in my opinion than the 996. The handling and power is very good to.

I went for a Evora S in the end. I viewed a few 996tt but they just did not do it for me. With my limited miles the Evora will be more of a occasion on a run out.
