Bored of reading about values (please keep them to the other threads) so thought I'd start a new thread where we can post pics of the 991.2 GT3 in different colours, show pics of optional equipment / spec etc, and ask questions / advice relating to building YOUR car. Also, those lucky enough to get a car - lets see your spec!

Yellow -

Standard platinum stitching with yellow body -

Yellow looks good too.
I really like the GT3 in yellow - more so than the GT4. Carmine will look fantastic too although not sure on them red-rimmed wheels. Good choice on black headlights. re interior - red roll cage would look ace with harnesses, dials and 12'o clock steering wheel marker but I'm not a huge fan of coloured stitching anymore - can you select dark-grey or black or is it just platinum or red?

Pleasure guys!

I wonder if more options will be added in the coming weeks? I remember when the GT4 configurator was live a few more options kept appearing.

Confusing on wheel choices - would like to know what standard finish is like.

For the record - I've no idea if I'll get a car but going to keep the dream alive biggrin

My spec order

GT silver
Leather interior plus contrast stitching in red
Bi-Zenon lights
Reversing camera
Privacy glass
Gloss black door handles
Exterior mirrors lower section painted gloss black
PDK
Axle lift
PCCB's
Chrono package
Wheels in Satin
Clubsport Package
Six point harness for passenger seat
Dimming mirrors/rain sensor
12-o'clock marking in red (s/wheel)
Sports Bucket seats
Seat heating
Guards red s/belts
Carbon interior
Digital radio.

Anything I should delete/add
That will look great. Personally I'd probably go for the LED headlights with black surround to tie in with the other black accents / door handles etc etc. I'd also like to see what the standard finish is like on the wheels. Love the bright finish of the 991R wheels and wonder if "satin aluminium" would be the same?

Brilliant - cheers for posting link!

Some great images of the GT3 in Guards red - just wish in real life it was as 'red'.

Porsche911R :- Great colour combo. How did you specify the black mirrors?? OPC said they had to be a dealer organized paint job not a factory fit. Can you assist??

Good find! Looks a little different to the Graphite I have seen in the flesh on a C2S but probably just the lighting..

With all these new colours you need to see them in the flesh. Pics lie. If Guards red looked as good as it does in the brochure then that would be my first choice. Carmine is a fantastic shade of red (IMO) but £2500. I'm black met with silver wheels and PCCB's.

Carmine red

PTS Rosso Corsa

Carmine left and Guards right

Lighting and effects make all the difference in photo's. The side shot of the Carmine RS above looks enhanced IMO

Wheel colour? Platinum wheels would be great with that spec. Blacks a departure for you isn't it Phooey?
I think Mexico or riviera would be great on this car.
I've gone for silver wheels - seeing them on a black 991 R made my mind up. re body colour - tough choice but black won in the end. Yellow probably a close 2nd. PTS doesn't really interest me when there are some good colours as standard but if going PTS I would probably go Gulf orange

Get out! They look st. If I'm paying an extra £6.5k for fancy brakes, I'd at least want everyone to see them whistle

CCB technology has come on quite a lot recently hasn't it? With regards to "less initial bite" - I thought Porsche had one of the best CCB set ups in a production car? I've heard mixed reviews from other manufacturers (McLaren?) re low-speed pedal feel but didn't think the latest gen of PCCB's suffer this? And re "track use kills them" - yeah maybe if you're a heavy track user, but then if you are you should probably be using aftermarket kit anyway? There's other benefits of CCB's too like unsprung weight, pad longevity and lack of brake dust. I'm not saying they're exactly vfm at £6.5k lol but they are fast gaining in popularity and desirability and I am a CCB fan boy so there biggrin

Does anyone know if option 603 - Bi-Xenon main headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) @ £497 are in black or grey? They look black on the configurator but don't say so. Only the LED lights have a "black" option in the description.
