My 996 GT3 has failed its mot with worn anti-roll bar link.
The price of front drop link 996.343.069.92 is an unbelievable £275-310. These are non adjustable and regular 996 drop links are a fraction of the price… so what is different , the dimensions of the link bar or the compound of the rubber bushing?
I prefer to always use Porsche parts but this seems unbelievable unless it is a designated motorsport item with a measurable performance impact.
Or is this a rip off ?

Oh well, answering my own thread but it appears the GT3 drop link is unique in that both the ball joints point in the same direction and non GT 996s the ball joints are at 90deg to one another .
So I’m stuffed with the GT3 parts, hey ho.

Cheers ?Aiden, it does make sense to fabricate these and McGill seem to have all the bits.
Is there a spec sheet for the original Porsche drop links ? Are the bolt centres 180mm.?
I will contact McGill, and check out making these.
Many thanks
Mike
