996 GT3 front drop links are they unique?
Discussion
My 996 GT3 has failed its mot with worn anti-roll bar link.
The price of front drop link 996.343.069.92 is an unbelievable £275-310. These are non adjustable and regular 996 drop links are a fraction of the price… so what is different , the dimensions of the link bar or the compound of the rubber bushing?
I prefer to always use Porsche parts but this seems unbelievable unless it is a designated motorsport item with a measurable performance impact.
Or is this a rip off ?

Cheers ?Aiden, it does make sense to fabricate these and McGill seem to have all the bits.Is there a spec sheet for the original Porsche drop links ? Are the bolt centres 180mm.?
I will contact McGill, and check out making these.
Many thanks
Mike
