Boxster & Cayman Picture Thread

Interesting you say the 987 was more fun on B roads, I've not driven a 981 Cayman yet but last year I was given a 981 Boxster S when my 987 CS was in for a service and I didn't like it strange as it seemed I felt my own car was sharper through the bends if you know what I mean...what went wrong with your 981.
Jag F-type coupe...stunning bet you can't wait, what spec are you going for.

Few things wrong with the 981: Fuel filler cap locked shut (emergency release failed), start stop system failed, airbag system failed and had issues with the seatbelt electrics. I agree that the 987 felt maybe a little sharper, but despite all the problems I really loved the 981 and may well go back for a GTS in a year or 2.
F-Type I'm having the 3 litre V6 in white with the panoramic roof, 20" gloss black cyclone wheels, exterior black pack, parking pack, flat bottom sports steering wheel and switchable active exhaust. Hoping for delivery in late May. Ordered in Feb so the wait has been a nightmare already!
Electrical gremlins are always a pain in the arse and often difficult to cure.F-Type I'm having the 3 litre V6 in white with the panoramic roof, 20" gloss black cyclone wheels, exterior black pack, parking pack, flat bottom sports steering wheel and switchable active exhaust. Your F-Type sounds fantastic...I was out for a run I the car today and ended up at the local Jag dealer for a look at the new coupe in the metal...WOW it's bloody stunning it has to be the best looking car on the road who ever penned that shape hit the nail on the head it's spot on. I had a seat in the base V6 and the R both beautiful inside but I must admit I preferred the twin centre exhausts of the base car v's the quad pipes of the R....I'd have one in a heartbeat.
I'am sure May will come soon enough...enjoy your new wheels.
When I started this thread I never thought for a minute there would be such a wide variety of lovely cars posted for all to see, from the first 986's to the newest 981's the one thing we have in common as owners we all love our Boxsters and Caymans.
Well done everyone...happy Porsche motoring.
