Ive got a cayman s 2007, while driving today, only 5 mins into the drive the temp gauge went to zero, and the red bar at the top lit up red, for overheating i take it, then the gauge started working again with in secs, back to normal 80 temp and red overheating light went out, when i stopped a few mins later, the car did have that hot smell about it

anyone seen anything like this?
