Its a shame Porsche don't do a 'motorsport' package, and for £2k they will sell you 25-30bhp

Dan - did you get the clear engine cover ? Any pics .

I'm back in an R from Tuesday as GT4 looking less and less likely to be a 2015 car . I liked the sound of the cover .
I did..

I must post a picture up.

(Used the car for the second time from when I collected it from you, weekend before last. Be getting her out of storage mid April)

Plans for her -
Brought some RS29's which I must get fitted
Need to get an ipod lead fitted (OPC £429)
Alps trip in July

I hear people talking of a short Shift, which I must look into too..

Re shortshift, get the 997.2 GT3 RS one not the 997 shortshifter. Its like a riflebolt. Im getting it fitted.
You wouldn't happen to have a part number?

997 424 010 91
Didn't think of that. Has an OPC quoted to fit the part? The std SS kit is about £400 all in but I'd like the rifle bolt feel better! Cup cables are around £600 all in, which give incredible precision.
I've not had a quote as yet. The vehicle is under warranty till end of next year so need to check which will not affect the warranty.

Tailpipes?

I loved the tailpipes on my 996 GT3 with Manthey (M+M) mufflers.

Do they make just the tips?

Yes regal are the Only UK supplier. (well used to be, seems there are more now)

you have to drill two small holes which is hard, as the space is small to get too, so make sure you have a dremal.
Do you need to remove the old air intake, and if so how hard is it to put back in come service time? (got to think about the warranty)

Speaking of tyres,

What should the rough pressures be for a CR?

Cold pressure and hot pressures please. Hot will be harder to gauge as the temperature is still quite cool and I don't take the car on track..
+1

I run 32F 36R (cold)

No idea if its right!
