Gen 1 Cayman / Boxster engine re-build for sale
Discussion
I am aware of the reported issues of bore score on gen 1 Cayman and Boxsters.
My question is this. If a car is advertised for sale with a full re-build, is that a good thing in itself or could it lead to further problems? It is this advert that got me thinking. It sounds great on paper, but why would someone spend £13,000 on a car in 12 months and then sell for not much more? They may of course be moving to a 911 as stated, but could the vehicle be a minefield and what would your thoughts be?
