I am aware of the reported issues of bore score on gen 1 Cayman and Boxsters.

My question is this. If a car is advertised for sale with a full re-build, is that a good thing in itself or could it lead to further problems? It is this advert that got me thinking. It sounds great on paper, but why would someone spend £13,000 on a car in 12 months and then sell for not much more? They may of course be moving to a 911 as stated, but could the vehicle be a minefield and what would your thoughts be?

Are you suggesting he should just keep it forever? The value is the market value.
No of course i'm not suggesting that. Just unsure on this process and after a bit of advice if this was usual or not.
