Hi,

My wife has a '13 Cayman 2nd Gen and wants DAB fitted to the std radio combo. Is there anyone who people would recommend in/around the Northampton area to do a good job - Porsche Silverstone say they don't provide an upgrade....

Thx in advance

There are two ways to go with the basic audio in a Cayman (assuming the CDR-30 and not PCM).
Accept its limitations as you care about invalid warranties - and maybe use an FM modulator such as http://www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/dab-r...
Rip the whole lot out and put in a decent head unit with sat nav, bluetooth, DAB, iPod, etc.

The former approach will be considerably cheaper, but you would ideally need a power converter as running a cable from the cigar lighter to the windscreen is a pain. You can get suitable power leads from eBay (look for motorcycle satnav power leads) and hook it into the rear wiper fuse in the fuse box. You may also need a DAB aerial fitted according to the reviews.
Many thx Gsewell, I suspect the former solution is going to be the way to go. I don't fancy the idea of ripping the whole lot out and it'd probably be cheaper to just divorce the wife.....
