Tailored luggage options 987 Cayman

Hi all

Occasionally I'm going to have stuff the Cayman full for UK holidays. I've looked at the following options as a good start to maximise the capacity. Anyone any experience with these? I'd be interested if anyone has worked up a 'set' front and rear that works well from other suppliers too. I can't get my head round how individually purchased bags/cases would fit the strange Cayman shapes as yet, so if anyone has some options that would be great.

Finally, any pics of how you pack your stuff on the engine 'shelf' would be excellent.

Finally finally I'm also looking at getting the luggage guard so I can pack it up to the rafters for the annual two weeks at the coast

No specific set for the Cayman, the front will be the same as the boxster and the rear trolley bag will fit

These fitted exactly in the boot once they were filled and did the job perfectly. They definitely aren't as classy as the ones you are looking at but are a fraction of the price.

Thanks for that, they look great. Just the type of info I'm looking for. After people who've tried options. I won't be using any luggage for flights, just in the Cayman. They seem like a steal too

Well, we have a cottage on the coast that we need to take bedding for, not duvets but the other stuff as an example. We went for 14 nights this year and for some reason the wife took 18 pairs of jeans too! Maybe I need to swap the wife? I'm just preparing so I don't get more of an ear bashing when she can't get her eight pairs of shoes in for example .

We bought for a euro trip in our 981, bags from Eastpak. The Transverz med is a perfect fit in the front, and you could probably get two in there. We had a med, a small, and a another bag for cleaning. They split in two, and very useful.

Thanks for that. I've got the tape measure out again and have took loads of pics. The Eastpak ones aren't that cheap but they seem built to last. I'm coming to the conclusion that the more rigid cases aren't the way to go, I.e the roadsterbag ones
