Just had my first detail ever on a car completed, really impressed. I haven't got access to a laptop at the moment so can't do forum pic post, here are a couple of links though. It's had a Siramik coating which I believe is a type of ceramic protection.

Thanks guys. Controversial I know, but I prefer the curves and rear on the 987 to the 981 smile I'd be interested to see how the new badges look though. Really pleased with the car and the way it has turned out. A few stone chips on the bonnet still but I'll get through winter and then might think about having the bonnet resprayed.

Should be well protected then, Siramik seems to have great lasting quality.
Russ has done my last 4 cars, and I had no complaints at all. Apart from when he told me 1/3 of my TTRS had been painted.
New unit looks well too, a proper step forwards.
Funny you should mention paint, apparently mine has had some work done on most of the nearside. I can't see a thing, but apparently he can tell by the naked eye, let alone the paint depth gauge. It's a decent repair job though apparently, it was most likely have been caused by some tt keying it!
