718 PASM or SPASM?

how much harder is the ride in normal mode with SPASM over PASM? and in sport mode?

i'm thinking of speccing SPASM on a CS but for me it's because i like the look of it rather than because i need a racier set up.

i will be trying them both out before committing but would like to hear from those of you that have experienced both.

wheels will most likely be 20".

thanks for the input. i don't want to compromise comfort so sounds like i should stick to PASM which is what i've already specced. i thought it was worth asking as the cost difference between the two is neglibible and i will phone around to see if i can find a Boxster with SPASM to try just to be sure.

regarding wheel size, the problem going with 19s on a CS is that choice is so limited. at least with the 20s you can choose between different styles and colour combos. it does feel like i'm being forced into choosing 20s though and i would happily go for 19" Carrera Sports in black if they were available.

the Carrera Sports are available in the same colours. the thing with the Sports is that they are part polished too, so you see the shape of the wheel a lot better.

that car you posted looks great though. i know i shouldn't be but i'm almost dreading the day i have to finalise my order... still not sure on colour or wheels.

thing is in real life things look so much better than on that configurator so it's hard to make a decision based on that. i'd never go for silver based on the configurator but it looks great in pics and even better in the metal.

i'm being called in when some Carrera Sports arrive at my local OPC to have a look at them.

i'd prefer the 19s, but i like the dark wheels and they're only available in 20s

On the configurator, if you spec any wheel other than Carrera S and then try to add "wheels painted" the spec is changed back to Carrera S and your choice of wheels removed. Are you sure it's not just the Carrera S wheel that can be had painted?

it's working for me. looks naff on the std configurator but honestly if i had to rely on the configurator i wouldn't be buying a Porsche.
