Home car lift?

I started a thread a few days ago about a 986 respray, I wanted Miami Blue...for a car I didn't have.....burt was thinking of......

Mostly thinking aloud, but was contacted by one of us , who had a car to sell, and now, only a few days later, have a 986 S sitting on my drive! Be careful what you wish for.....

So next question;

Moving in a few week time and should have a garage big enough, so;


Home car lift, who has done it, how much, and how much to install? i.e. wha the real total cost...?

How much does it restrict access to the underside? And is it moveable, i.e. you could move it from one garage bay to the next?
