Hi,

I am considering installing a Short Shift Kit into my Boxster S, I previously had a 2.5 Boxster S with a B&M kit fitted which I enjoyed, at the time there didn't seem to be many but now there seem to be several.

Was considering this;

Thanks for the advice guys, I have purchased an ebay item, I understand its the same as the EPMAN / Designtek one but UK stock so quicker delivery.

£47.99 delivered, dispatched on the same day so should be here Today/Tomorrow.

The cars in for a service next week at Autostrasse - they say it takes 1.5hrs to fit so may ask them to do the work.

Had the Kit fitted last week, I had Autostrasse do the work whilst it was in for a service.

Its made such an improvement to the gear shift, it feels more precise and less sloppy, I'd say more how it should be - I'm still getting used to the different feel but haven't driven it enough yet!

Now thoughts are with the next modification, thinking Suspension next...

Budget is small, I was thinking Springs, have been recommended H&R at -25-30mm, is it worth carrying out further works at the same time?

Depending on age and mileage I would prioritise dampers over springs. But personally, if you are doing the dampers and you want lower/stiffer springs then best to do altogether. Also, what set up you choose very much depends on your use of the car so it would be useful to share that. You will get a better range of response on boxa.net
The car is a 2004 with 51k miles, use will be Road (country lanes etc), it is a weekend car so not in use everyday..

I'll head over to Boxa.net for some advice, I'll have to see if I can remember my password from my previous Boxster ownership.
