Recently bought a BGTS, and my wife and I have done a few 30 - 40 minute trips with the top down, in the evenings, no problems.

Yesterday we did 1 hr 30 mins, from 11 am, it was hot but felt nice in the car with the hood off, windows up. 40 miles of A road bashing, 15 miles of dual carriage ways, and 10 miles of slow a/b roads. The wife ended up getting a headache by the time we got to our destination, it was mild but more of a heavy head feeling she said. A few hours of relaxing and it had got worse and she was nauseous and just wanted to get home and to bed. (She is still feeling nauseous today) - No shes not pregnant lol.

The same thing happened when we had a 458 Spider for the day and it was hot, however we did cover 400 miles that day and had the hood on for the motorway stints, but the drone was alot more than the BGTS which i think is quite compared on the cruise.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this??

Could it be the convertible wind buffeting/noise?

Definitely sounds like sunstroke.

I had the roof down on a recent day out to Whitby. About 2 hours there and 2 hours back. Didn't have a hat, and didn't feel the strength of the sun due to the wind around the car.

Had to stop on the way back as I started to feel a headache coming on. Felt rubbish all night, and really sick. Sunstroke.

I hate wearing hats too, look like a right plonker. Wife has told me she will take me shopping for a decent one before we set off down to France.

Hope your wife has come round now, it's a horrible feeling.
Shes feeling better, thanks mate.

Well get a hat or two smile
