I was surprised to notice than my wife's tyres have worn down in only 11000 miles given that she drives like Miss Daisy!

Anyway, the sizes are:
Rear 265/40/19 98y
Front 235/4019 92y

Pirelli P Zero fitted at the moment. I've checked for tyres on Camskill and notice choice is limited to Pirelli Pzero or Goodyear F1 Asymwtric 2. The Goodyears are a good bit cheaper for the rear.

Reading other threads here I gather the Pirelli PZero N1 compound is the one to go for rather than the N0 compound.

I'm hoping somebody can advise on whether the Goodyears are ok so I can benefit from the saving, or are they to be avoided and stay with Pirelli P Zero, N1 compound ?

Thanks in anticipation.

Mine's a 2014 981 2.7 PDK. I had P Zero N0's all round, the fronts of which split in the treads, and were poor to drive on.

Having had GY F1 A2 on my 2012 TTS and finding them excellent for grip, wet weather, and wear (after 10k miles they'd worn 1-2mm only) I had no qualms about fitting them 10k miles ago all round on the 981. Much better than the Pirelli N0's but I too have heard the N1's are improved.

If you can wait until January the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is due out in your size. From what I've heard it'll be the "go to" choice and "N" marked.
Thanks for that, I'd have preferred the new Michelin but sadly it can't wait, she needs her car now frown

I'll go with the GY tyre, not impressed at all with the longevity of the Pirelli.
