Mahogany trim ...your thoughts appreciated

Hi there
I'm close to lockdown( I hope) and have spec'd a 718 Cayman in graphite blue with crayon and black leather carrera classic wheels etc and the trim in carbon and the multi function steering wheel
However my girlfriend who has an artistic eye says the wood is a contrast with the black and white and will look a lot better than the blending in carbon
I must admit the wood looks classy and maybe for a Rolls or Bentley or older bloke but it still makes the car " different"
The OPC salesman has said its not a great idea but I keep considering it
I would value other people's input on it
