M030 928 S4 CALIPERS ON A 944 S2?
Discussion
Hi all...I have a 1990 944 s2, and I am wondering if the M030 calipers from a 928 S4 are a) a direct replacement for the existing calipers and b) worth the cost and effort?....Also, will a front anti roll bar from a 944 turbo (26mm) be a vast improvement over the standard 20mm ?....all help appreciated..

Is it really only a 20mm front AR bar on the S2 ? In any case just fitting a thicker front bar will likely make the car understeer more. AFAIK on the Clubsport MO30 was an option not standard.
No...my mistake!...its the same for the turbo/S2...so nothing to be gained there...Edited by blade7 on Friday 27th February 00:35

Well.... Now that's a can of worms.
Full CS spec would also include an LSD, rear wiper removal. On the 944 there are actually CS wing mirrors, manual adjust type from a 924.
Then you've got thinner glass etc...
M030 suspension - shocks and springs are only really sought after for perfectionists. If you want to improve the car then some modern alternatives exist including KW, GAZ, Koni etc...
Bucket seats - again the OE ones are ££££ and newer seats are lighter.
If your goal is to make a trackday/fast 944 then EMC really are the people you need to talk to.
