Here's one for the PH geeks on here smile

How many films or TV episodes have featured a Porsche 928.

1. Top of the list has to be the film 'Risky Business' and the U-Boat incident.
2. The film 'Cannonball Run 2' though unfortunately the 928 was driven over and crushed by a monster truck early on in the film.
3. I also recollect an episode of CHiPs when it out-performed one of the motorcycle police officers chasing it which wasn't really that surprising considering what they were riding.

So can anyone add to the list?

Hey Shewie, thank you so much for the link, but even that knowledgeable link is missing the CHiPs episode, and funnily enough I had forgotten the 928 was used early on in 'Moonlighting' before being replaced by the BMW, also it being used in the film 'Against All Odds' mainly because of the race between the Ferrari 308 and the Porsche 911.

Edit, just noticed there are 7 pages not just one!

Thanks, was editing my post as you posted yours, wow, 7 pages containing clips of the 928 in action is quite astonishing.

I still don't understand why Moonlighting ditched the 928 in favour of the BMW because it was probably the only reason I watched the trailer. Product placement comes to mind wink

Must say the start-up sequence of the 928 in Risky Business was quite outstanding, along with the hand-brake antics and the U-Boat commander comments in the Porsche dealership smile
