I'm looking at a 1 year old Cayenne from a non-franchised dealer. In theory it will have another 2 years of Porsche's new car warranty to go. I have no known causes for concern but is there value in getting a 111 point check done by an OPC to confirm nothing's amiss? For example, if the car has been chipped that will void Porsche's warranty. Again, no known causes for concern but if the car was chipped I would not want to be piggie in the middle with an OPC sayng the warranty is invalid and the selling dealer saying it was fine when they sold it and I must have chipped it.

The Porsche warranty is only transferrable if sold privately (or on a SOR basis).

New car warranty might be different but might be worth checking?
The new car warranty is fully transferable; it’s the used car assured warranty (an insurance policy by another name) that is voided if a car is purchased from a trader.
